Accessibility at Shotpop

Shotpop is built to be usable by everyone, on iPhone and iPad. This page describes the iOS accessibility features the app supports and how to reach us if something doesn't work for you.

VoiceOver

Every control in Shotpop carries a VoiceOver label, and stateful controls (selected templates, active tools, plan choices) announce their state and traits. Editing surfaces describe what a gesture will do before you commit to it.

Larger Text (Dynamic Type)

Text throughout the app scales with your preferred reading size, including the largest accessibility sizes. Screens reflow rather than clamp — for example, the upgrade screen's pricing switches to a vertical layout and its footer joins the scrolling content at accessibility sizes.

Reduced Motion

With Reduce Motion enabled, decorative animations — including the launch sequence — are skipped. Animated mesh backgrounds remain part of the artwork you are editing, since they are content rather than chrome.

Alternatives to dragging

Every editing action that supports a drag gesture also supports a tap: spotlights and redactions can be placed with a single tap, and every poster layer can be moved with an on-screen nudge pad as well as by dragging.

Contrast and colour

Shotpop's interface uses high-contrast type on dark surfaces, and selection is always indicated by shape and fill — never by colour alone.

Something not working?

If any part of Shotpop is hard to use with an assistive technology, email hey@shotpop.app — accessibility reports go to the top of the queue.
